My vaporizer is not charging

Turn the ON/OFF switch to the ON position, making sure it has slid all the way into position. Make sure that the charging port is clean and free of dust and dirt. Do the same for your charging cable. Attach the USB charging cable to the vaporizer making sure the connection is firm. Attach to your wall adapter and working outlet.

  • try using a different USB charging cable
  • try using a different wall adapter or use a computer USB port
  • try using multiple wall outlets

The LED will glow red once the battery is charging. After several hours (2 – 3), the LED will turn green indicating the battery has fully charged.

My vaporizer will not hold a charge.

  • If your battery is low, the LED will blink white when attempting to activate your heating chamber. There is not enough voltage in the battery to activate the heating chamber for 1 heating cycle.
  • Charge your battery by turning the ON/OFF switch to the ON  position and plugging in your USB charging cable to a wall adapter and outlet. Allow to charge for 2 – 3 hours. Note the LED will turn RED when charging and then GREEN once the charging cycle has completed.
  • It’s important to remember to turn the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position when your vaporizer is not in use. Even though the heating chamber is not activated, you will still drain your battery by leaving it ON.
  • Your battery is rated to last up to 3 hours of constant use (heating chamber stays on the entire time). But for normal small sessions, your battery should last 24 hours without needing to be charged. The time between charges is dependent on how frequent you use the vaporizer and for how long each time.

I am getting very little vapor production.

We can perform a quick test to ensure your vaporizer’s heating chamber is heating up properly.

  • Set your vaporizer on the hottest temperature setting (BLUE). Turn your ON/OFF switch to the ON position. Then press and hold down the temperature control button. The LED colors will begin cycling through. Once it reaches the BLUE color, take your finger off the temperature control button.
  • After you have activated your heating chamber and set it to the BLUE temperature setting as described above, add a small amount of ground product to the heating chamber. Leave the glass swivel open. Let the heating chamber begin to vaporize the product. You will see a small amount of vapor leave the heating chamber, and quickly dissipate into the air. This means your vaporizer is heating properly.
  • It’s important to understand the vaporization process. Your heating chamber works just like your oven with convection heating. In order for vaporization to take place, it must reach at least 375F inside the chamber. This means that after the LED stops blinking, you need to let your product “bake” or allow vapor to be produced and build up. You will see vapor build in the chamber and even seen condensation on the glass swivel.
  • Then you need to take small puffs like you would on a cigar. This helps to circulate the air and continue the vapor production. If you take a giant rip, it will drop the temperature of the chamber and stop all vapor production. Once you give the heating chamber time to heat the product continuously, you will be able to take larger hits and get some serious vapor.
  • Good vapor production can be attributed to two factors: quality of your product, and temperature/heating. The better quality product (stickier, more trichomes), the more vapor you will get. If the product is very dry, this will affect your overall vapor production. Temperature is also very important. Lower temps produce lower amounts of vapor. And if you have good, even convection heating, you will get the most vapor production.
  • If you haven’t already, please make sure to watch the Tips & Tricks video that goes over this in greater detail.

It's getting harder and harder to draw from my vape.

  • Maintaining your vape is very important. Over time, you will start to get trichome deposits in and around the air holes and also on the end of the glass airway. You will need to make sure to clean your heating chamber frequently using a cloth that has a solvent like rubbing alcohol on it to help break down any buildup you have. Remember, it is an oven so if you are leaving material in the chamber, it will continue to bake over and over and over, eventually hardening.
  • You need to make sure that the air holes are kept clear. This is important for inside the chamber and also the outside of the chamber as well. To clean the outside, gently remove your glass airway. Then take your cleaning brush and insert into the pathway for the glass airway. Then gently brush off the back of the ceramic heating chamber.
  • Finally, you want to make sure your glass airway is clean. You can drop this in very hot water and it will clean the deposits right off. You can also you a solvent like rubbing alcohol to clean as well.
  • Keeping your airway clean is very important to airflow and great tasting vapor. Take care of your Curv and it will last a very long time!
