Children’s day was established to promote the overall well-being of children throughout the World.
We’d like to emphasize the importance of cannabidiol (CBD) treatment among children, specifically children who suffer from Dravet syndrome.
Dravet syndrome is a very rare and drug resistant form of epilepsy.
After the discovery of a marijuana strain high in CBD, many parents began to turn to cannabis as a form of treatment for their children.
Since then, we’ve had remarkable results of CBD treating some of the most severe forms of epilepsy in children.
Just recently, a team of scientists conducted a study among 120 children and young adults that resulted in a 50% reduction in the patients that were given a daily oral solution of 20 mg of cannabidiol per kilogram of the individuals body weight.
We also have the success story of Desmond, who went from having nearly 20 seizures a week to going weeks without having one seizure.
Help us celebrate this Children’s day by spreading the word of the remarkable effects of cannabidiol on children with epilepsy.
